CLIMATE CHANGE

The chamber holds bi-annual conferences addressing issues on Climate Change and its effects on communities of color. Under the leadership of its board of director, the chamber partners with leading institutions, academicians, and thought leaders to openly address key issues in global warming and its impacts on the earth’s weather patterns, the growing concerns of greenhouse gasses, and their disproportionate impact on communities and nations of color around the world. Partnering institutions include WE Act for Environmental Justice, Columbia University, The City College of New York, Medgar Evers College, New York City Tourism + Conventions, Javits Convention Center, NAACP, West Harlem Development Corporation, and others to bring key stakeholders and experts together.
