| The Vision Faces Entertainment VFE Theatre Company is based in Durban, KZN, South Africa wishes to request for partnership and assistance in securing crowd funding to market the musical called Dance Diaspora Celebrates African Unity for global tour and streaming. The production has had many opportunities to tour the globe with an aim to promote African unity, to encourage social cohesion, to train, educate and exchange African culture among African youth, to inspire African youth to know their identity, be proud of who they are and where they come from, to ensure that the Dance Diaspora becomes the voice of all Africans within Africa and Diasporas globally. The musical production has since its 2017 premiere, been booked at the Apollo theatre in New York City in May 2023 and Aug 2022, Canada 2022, Ghana 2022, Nigeria 2018, Russia 2017, Singapore 2019 & 2017, Hong Kong 2017 signed a marketing contract with Hong Kong based Orionx Digital Ltd and China 2017 then received emails for tour from Germany 2021, Qwest TV from France 2021, and London 2019 but lost these opportunities due to no support from RSA’s relevant stakeholders. The Dance Diaspora musical production will employ and be represented by all South African cultures and other African nationalities to promote and share our diverse cultural values, customs, music, dance, and telling African stories in our languages. The production will open in KZN then tour other RSA provinces inviting theatre producers, media, businesses and other stakeholders from all over the globe bringing the world to KZN especially BRICS partners as part of promoting KZN tourism attraction. The production is estimated to sell +200 million tickets worldwide at $50 per ticket through marketing and publicity on Showmax, Netflix and online live streaming since it will be the first global production that promotes African unity.BRBRTHE OBJECTIVES OF THE DANCE DIASPORA ARE:-To ensure that Africans live together in harmony regardless where they come from in order to end discrimination against each other as brothers and sisters. To promote African unity which will help strengthen the AU’s 2063 vision including the marketing of BRICS’ existence. To combine and share diverse cultures, music, dance and storytelling from North, East, West & South. To ensure that the African youth participate in changing the narrative for Africans to benefit from its natural resources. To use arts in order to promote social cohesion among African citizens. To ensure that Africans and Diasporas become key players in promoting peace and unity. To ensure that Pan Africanism is instilled in the future generation’s minds as they are our future leaders. To encourage women and youth to proudly tell their stories in their languages. To bring back the pride of being an African and build relations within different tribes and communities. To ensure that cultural exchange between Africans and Diasporas is sustained. To become the voice of every African within the continent and Diasporas while instilling a message of Africanism. To expose African youth to international platform opportunities while preserving and restoring our heritage, customs, traditions and values. To ensure that women's rights are not violated and women are treated with respect and their dignity is upheld.
